– Steven Pang
The Company
From a humble beginning, Mr. Steven Pang who is never academically interested spends his childhood helping out at his father’s coffee house. Through its ups and downs, he develops an acute sense for details and was well known for being immensely street-smart. He struggles spending years in his youth learning the traits of the business before he got his first break opening his own seafood restaurant back in 1995. A decade later, he bought over Goodtrust Eating House in Woodlands Centre Road, venturing in a totally different arena – a Halal Eating Establishment.

Today, he continues the family lineage of restaurateurs owning the well known Rasa Rasa Thai Seafood Restaurant, Sedap Rasa Indon & Thai Seafood Restaurant and even procured his first franchise, Enak Rasa Thai Seafood Restaurant. In 2008, he instituted Sedap Rasa Catering, a Halal Certified Catering Company to meet the demands of his customers catering food for their personal and corporate functions.
The thriving catering business necessitate for a catering business overhaul. Mr Steven Pang spends almost 2 years gathering a dedicated team of professionals, applying the industry’s best practices and quality management system before he acquired the new integrated central kitchen fully-equipped in all areas of food processing, food preparation and storage facility; a kitchen that you find in hotels. This new complete central kitchen can cater to more than 5000 people in a single catering and was completed in June 2010.
He then inaugurated - Rasa Rasa Group Catering Services LLP.

The leading team is a group of highly experienced personage in the food and beverage industry. The sales and marketing team and the team of chefs have years of experience in hotels and celebrated restaurants; bringing leverage to clients and customers in all areas of the business.
Khaizuran Ahmad, Aiz

Aiz have years of valuable experience in the hospitality and F&B industry. He has coordinated numerous large-scale and protocol functions; and has even personally served high officials, public figures, the royal families, ambassadors and many high profile individuals and dignitaries. With his experience, he then pursues his interest further in events management. To date, he have coordinated, managed and even hosted uncountable events for companies, government bodies and multi-national companies (MNCs) both locally and overseas. His vast experience is a definite asset for the clients and customers.
Saidi Akib
Assistant Manager, Catering & Corporate Sales Department
Saidi have years of experience working with a multi-national company before he stepped out to start his own food business following his mother’s footstep. He was doing very well and after he met Mr. Steven, he decided to come on board to Rasa Rasa to achieve economies of scale and at the same time expand his interest further.

Chef Jimmy has lived his profession in one of the most profiled hotel in Singapore for more than 20 years, The Shangri-La Singapore. It is there he won numerous awards for his outstanding culinary skills and service. His creativity and explicit sense of taste is his ultimate finesse. Chef Kelvin Quah

Chef Kelvin is a household name in Genting Highland Resorts. As a head chef at Amber Courts, his culinary delivery is the word of town, winning his some of the most prestigious awards in the country. Bringing over 20 years of experience, his culinary prowess is not only to his astounding Chinese cuisines but he also brings with him signatures of fusion delicacies perfected by the man himself. Savoring his cuisines is an aesthetic phenomenon to the palate; one try and you’ll love it for life.
Chef Hamzah Salleh
Chief Chef, Malay Kitchen
Chef Hamzah is not a foreign figure in the culinary world. With over 30 years of experience, he is a culinary savoir-faire; with background from hotels, clubs, restaurants even airport catering. His expertise is towards Malay, Indonesian and Balinese cuisines; with over 2 decades in a Muslim kitchen in a hotel. The authenticity and exquisiteness of his delicacies will not disappoint even the most delicate taste buds.

Chef William specializes in Japanese and Continental cuisines. He hand-make his cuisines like sushi, maki & ebi that it’ll bring flexibility of customization.
